Aquesta nit s’entregava un dels premis més importants de la música britànica, el Mercury Prize, que aquest any ha recaigut en els escocesos Young Fathers, que han aconseguit el guardó de millor disc de l’any, per Dead, el seu disc de debut.

Ha estat una gran sorpresa, ja que les apostes donaven com a grans favorits a FKA twigs, Royal Blood i Jungle.
