El passat diumenge 25 va ser l’entrega de premis Juno 2018, que és una gala que celebra la indústria musical de Canadà per premiar els artistes del país.

El grup d’indie rock Arcade Fire va ser qui més va triomfar durant la gala, ja que es va endur dues estatuetes: una a l’Àlbum de l’Any pel seu últim treball Everything Now i una altra al Reconeixement Internacional, gràcies a l’èxit del disc ja mencionat, i per tota la seva carrera. El grup de Win Butler presentarà Everything Now a Barcelona el 21 d’abril. Les entrades ja estan disponibles a Ticketmaster.

A més, el jove Shawn Mendes va guanyar el premi al Senzill de l’Any amb There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back, i Kendrick Lamar va guanyar-ne un altre a l’Àlbum Internacional de l’Any per DAMN.
