Aquest dissabte s’han donat a conèixer les nominacions d’uns dels premis més importants que dóna la música britànica, els Brit Awards on enguany figuren noms com Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Florence + The Machine, Sam Smith, George Ezra, Anne-Marie o Dua Lipa.
Sam Smith està nominat a millor artista masculí al costat de Craig David o George Ezra. Pel que fa al femení trobem a Jess Glynne, Florence + The Machine, Anne Marie o Lily Allen. A millor senzill britànic trobem ‘One Kiss’ de Calvin Harris i Dua Lipa, ‘2002’ d’Anne Marie, ‘Solo’ de Clean Bandit i Demi Lovato o a ‘These Days’ de Rudimental. Tom Walker, Ella Mai i Jorja Smith competiran a millor artista britànic revelació, mentre que The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Years & Years o Gorillaz ho faran a millor banda del Regne Unit.
En l’apartat internacional trobem noms com Drake, Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Eminem o Twenty One Pilots.
Els premis s’entregaran el 20 de febrer en una gala on comptarà amb diferents actuacions en directe.
